Chianti Reserve may be new on the scene of Pleasanton, but it didn’t take long for the crowds to show up.

Our head chef and co-owner, Bilarddi Carteli, was trained in Italy (Bologna and Tuscany) as well as in California. Bilarddi worked as a chef throughout Italy as well as in the United States.

My wife and I have had the pleasure of eating at the new Chianti Reserve twice now. Every time the food has been fantastic and the service wonderful. The Salmone a Mediterraneo is the best we have ever experienced. Chef Carteli came out and personally introduced himself and shared how he had created our meal. We both highly recommend Chianti Reserve. The maître d', Moreno Panelli, is a wine expert and helped us pair our wine to our meal. The entire experience was incredible. We will be back again very soon.

The service was European style allowing you to savor and digest between courses. We never felt rushed. They were very accommodating with the special requests that we made for my elderly mom. The presentation of each dish was worthy of a Gourmet Magazine shoot. I would recommend this restaurant highly. Our only regret was that we too full to order dessert. But we will certainly be going back.

A couple of friends and I stopped in here a few nights ago, I must say that this place deserves all 5 stars that I have given it. The food was exceptional and the staff was very friendly and accommodating!! This place is a must try!!

Very attentive service and atmophere was very comfortable. I can't wait to try the fish dishes.

After living in Pleasanton for ten years, I am so happy that I don't have to drive to Walnut Creek anymore to get some Italian seafood dishes to choose from! It was yum yum yummy!

I ate here a couple nights ago and had the saltimbocca. It was REALLY wonderful. Such a great sauce and the veal was very tender...I do love my dessert, though, and the tiramisu was seriously wonderful (and I know good tiramisu).

Many other restaurants in the area do not offer an extensive seafood menu...not so at Chianti Reserve. I really enjoyed the service because they treat you like family. I plan to return soon and often.

An outstanding experience all the way around and can't wait to go back.

Chianti Reserve stands apart from all the other Italian restaurants on Main Street because the owners and staff all demonstrate their passion not only for the food they serve but for the customers they serve.
